Tilden Regional Park

Since 2011, Friends of Five Creeks has led many volunteer groups in Tilden Regional Park, removing invasive, fire-prone French broom (Genista monspessulana) and smothering cape ivy (Delairea odorata) from some of the park's most heavily used areas, from near the Little Farm to the Carousel and Lake Anza. F5C volunteers also contribute to citizen science here, using cell phones to map invasives on monthly walks, as well as contributing to the annual survey of Sudden Oak Death.
