Jennifer Jackson of EB MUD and Rebecca Sutton of Environmental Working Group, both authors of a recent report on this topic that made headlines, will speak on their research and what we can do to reduce exposure. Please join us at 7 pm Monday, August 6, at Albany Community Center, 1249 Marin (at Masonic). Free and open to all!
Huge thanks to the 13 hard-working volunteers who cleared a mountain of evergreen thornless blackberry from Cerrito Creek at Adams Street for our July work party. At our next work party, August 25, we'll focus on erosion control for areas where we worked over the summer - it will be satisfying to see how much has been done! Put it on your calendar: 10 am Saturday, Aug. 25, at Creekside Park (south end of Santa Clara Street), El Cerrito.
