Update 11-10-2007 (morning)

There now is a bird-rescue center set up in the parking lot on the north side of University Avenue in Berkeley, opposite Shorebird Park, west of the Harbormaster's office. They do NOT need volunteers.

However, they do need the following:
pens
paper bags (for dead birds)
towels
AA batteries
food for people

If you can take these down, that would help. Not to be rude, but please then leave and let people do their work, unless you are asked to do something else.
