Update 1-9-2007

A reminder to join us 5-7 pm this Thursday, Jan. 11, at the opening of "Art to Action on Berkeley Creeks," photos and poems from our three 2006 sessions making art on upper, middle, and lower creek reaches, led by environmental artist Zach Pine. You can make your own ephemeral environmental art and poetry -- and of course we'll have refreshments. Please join us at River of Words' Young art Art galley in the historic Sawtooth Building, 2525 Eighth, south of Dwight. The show will remain up through Valentines Day -- open afternoons, but call River of Words first, 510-548-7636.

Our January work party will be Saturday, Jan. 27, 10 am, continuing our exciting restoration of the beautiful willow grove at the foot of Albany Hill. Meet at Creekside Park, south end of Santa Clara Ave., El Cerrito.
